Completion of Grade 12. A combination of education and experience satisfactory to the employer will also be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Post-secondary diploma level education in the human service field (LPN, rehab, and social work). Good observation and communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Targeted Responder Level CPR through Heart & Stroke. Related experience dealing with individuals with complex mental health needs. 5 years' experience in community mental health or in related field. Training in suicide and crisis intervention: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (SPRAM) Certificate or equivalent. Mental Health First Aid. Non-violent crisis intervention. Able to travel in and around Lacombe.
