Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of diploma/degree from an accredited program this includes Business Administration, Medical Radiology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound), Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy. Active or eligible registration with a regulatory body and/or Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) Active or Eligible registration with the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS), the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP). This position requires quality improvement experience and/or project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Good decision-making skills, capable of showing initiative and maintaining a cooperative and flexible attitude. Displays tact, courtesy and empathy when dealing with staff, patients and other healthcare professionals. The ability to work independently as well as effectively with others in a wide variety of clinical and educational situations. Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written skills. Working knowledge of computer applications and familiarity with Connect Care is an asset.
