A minimum of a Masters Degree in a health related field or a Bachelors degree with several years relevant clinical experience is required. A minimum of 5 years supervisory management experience in a health care setting is required. A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in a relevant clinical field. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Active membership in applicable professional association. Demonstrate excellent public relations skills. Communicates and works collaboratively with residents, families, health team members, the community and staff. Ability to effect positive change. Conflict resolution and critical thinking skills. Good verbal communication skills, self confidence, interpersonal sensitivity, initiative, creativity, and the ability to conceptualize and apply concepts to the clinical setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
Clinical experience/expertise in long term care, supportive care or gerontology. Program development is an asset. Experience in rural.
