A minimum of a bachelor ' s degree in business or IT administration, healthcare administration, or related field. A minimum of 10 -15 years in a senior management role related to delivery of healthcare IT services in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Demonstrate a clear pattern of professional and personal development with a proven track record in healthcare-based leadership
Additional Required Qualifications:
Strong leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities. Effective communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Fosters team development by coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Strategic thinking, taking into account long-term goals while assessing options and implications. Proven ability to manage diverse human. financial. and physical resources. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Clinical experience in the delivery of virtual health services would be considered an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 -8 years ' experience working in a healthcare setting. Key area of focus are collaboration and communications technologies within a healthcare setting. Demonstrated ability to deploy transformational technologies and programs within a complex healthcare setting. Capacity for frequent travel across broad geography to engage stakeholders and participate in key leadership events. Detailed knowledge of Alberta ' s rural and urban communities.
