Manager Health Hub
Your Opportunity:
Emergency Health Services – Alberta (EHS-AB) is one of Canada’s largest and most integrated emergency medical systems, providing care to more than 750,000 Albertans each year. Through a province-wide model that brings together dispatch, ground ambulance, aeromedical response, and specialized clinical programs, EHS-AB delivers coordinated care across diverse urban and rural communities. As Manager, Health Hub, you will play a key leadership role in supporting the day-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of clinician-led programs that transform how patients access care across the system. Working within the broader Health Hub leadership structure and reporting to the Program Director, this role provides operational oversight for programs including Clinicians in Dispatch, Secondary Triage, Health Evaluation and Linkage Paramedic (HELP) units, and Interfacility Transport (IFT) processes and business rules, in partnership with the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC). You will lead and support a multidisciplinary team responsible for the execution, coordination, and performance of these programs, ensuring patients are connected to the right care pathway while supporting effective use of paramedic resources. This role plays an important part in aligning clinical intent with real-time system coordination to support strong decision-making, patient flow, and operational performance. Working closely with internal teams, healthcare partners, and community agencies, you will help strengthen system efficiency, improve patient outcomes, and reduce unnecessary transports. Alberta’s integrated EMS model offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful system improvement, support frontline practitioners, and help shape the future of emergency medical services in Alberta.
