Your Opportunity:

Finance – General Accounting is recruiting for a Manager – Chart of Accounts (COA) This is a fast paced ever changing environment. COA lays the groundwork for any new initiatives, organizational changes etc. The manager should have a well-rounded view of the organization that includes DRM, Payroll, HRBSS, BCC and reporting impacts. As the Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating change management, promoting team development and teamwork.

Description:

Specific duties and responsibilities include: Reviewing and approving all requests submitted to COA for MIS Standards compliance (The MIS Standards are national standards that provide an integrated approach to managing financial and statistical data related to the operations of Canadian health service organizations) Interpretation of MIS Assisting in implementing MIS changes Liaising with stakeholders when there is substantial impact to proposed changes Working with stakeholders on proposed process changes Participating in Connect Care Change Assessment Group (CAG) meetings Support processes/changes to Functional Centre Mapping in Connect Care Working with Revenue and BCC on billing coding and processes in Connect Care Support maintenance of the MIS Guidelines on SharePoint Respond to audit requirements/requests Contribute to the MIS Directive and Financial Directive Responsible for motiving and leading staff members towards common goals and meeting tight monthly deadlines. Required Qualifications:

Possess the ability to adapt to change in a meaningful way. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role, ideally in an organization of significant size. Accounting diploma and/or satisfactory combination of education and experience. Knowledge of MIS. Connect Care experience. Familiarity with Oracle.
