Required Qualifications:

Active registration with applicable Alberta Regulated Health Profession. Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in clinical practice required and within the last three (3) in a leadership role. Previous experience in acute and/or emergency required. Equivalences of education and experience may be considered.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Proven clinical and leadership skills. Superior organizational skills. Evidence of strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Evidence of initiative, flexibility, attention to details and creativity. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, physicians, community agencies, professional colleagues, volunteers, and the community. Evidence of strong commitment to excellence in patient care. Ability to function effectively in a dynamic work environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred; however, skills and experience relevant to nursing practice will be considered. Previous management experience preferred.
