Bachelor degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Health Administration or a related field. Equivalency of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master Degree in Business or Health Administration or Health Economics. Alberta FFS specific knowledge: how AHCIP Program, Workers’ Compensation Board, Federal programs and private insurer claims are submitted/paid and how fee schedules are structured. Conceptual understanding of how hospital billing/funding works for uninsured services as well as services provided to non-AHCIP enrolled patients. Reasonable understanding of accounting principles, audit controls and good practices.
