Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Possession of a valid driver's licence. Power Engineer 5th Class Certificate required where boiler support is necessary.
Additional Required Qualifications:Grade 12 High School diploma supplemented by a minimum two-month technical training program (i.e. carpentry, mechanical, equipment operator, electrical or 5th class Power Engineer certificate). Valid Class 5 driver's license required with a clean driver's abstract. Minimum two-month technical training program (i.e., carpentry, mechanical, electrical or 1-3 years of Elementary technical/professional experience) required. Must be familiar with a variety of architectural and mechanical tools and equipment used in the maintenance program. Good initiative and judgement required. Must be able to communicate clearly in English, verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications:Driver license upgraded to more than Class 5 is an asset. One to two years previous architectural / mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
