Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Possession of a valid driver's licence. Power Engineer 5th Class Certificate required where boiler support is necessary.
Additional Required Qualifications:Motorized equipment experience. Training in small engine tune-up and repair. Experience or training in a recognized trade. Experience operating grounds mobile equipment (skid steer, etc.). Must demonstrate the AHS CARES values at all times. Must be able to work in a hospital environment and work around traumatic events that occur in a hospital setting.
Preferred Qualifications:6 months of related experience preferred. Training in small engine tune-up and repair would be considered an asset. Experience or training in a recognized trade would be considered an asset. Experience operating grounds mobile equipment (skid steer, etc.) would be considered an asset.
