Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program required or completion of certificate from an accredited MRI Technologist program plus a diploma from an accredited Program in Medical Radiology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound), Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy. Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Venipuncture Authorization. Ability to apply learned skills to screen patients for appropriateness for an MR study. Demonstrated proficient organizational, technical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting. Demonstrated tact, courtesy, and professionalism with patients, and other member of the health care team. Excellent Computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of the Medication Administration Authorization for Diagnostic Imaging Technologists module and the Central Venous Access Device Use Authorization Program for Diagnostic Imaging Technologists.
