Knowledge of project management principles, tools, and methodologies, preferably in a healthcare environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience in tracking project status. Ability to coordinate with key stakeholders and providing technical expertise, to ensure the project progresses as planned and promptly addresses onsite issues. Ability to manage priorities and execute multiple assignments on schedule. Skillsets and experience in critical thinking, analysis, problem-solving, negotiation, investigation, and the ability to conceptualize, self-manage, prioritize, and meet deadlines are key to this role. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel, and Project.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of related commercial/institutional construction project coordination experience in architectural, building, engineering, or construction with preference in a healthcare environment. Journeyman Trade Certificate and/or Diploma in related architecture, building, or engineering technology program.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of AHS e-Facilities software. Experience with facilitating and coordinating construction activities in an active healthcare facility and knowledge of Alberta Health Services internal policies and processes. Knowledge of OH&S/WHS/WCB, Building Codes and construction standards, inspections, and reporting, along with an understanding of building systems.
