Your Opportunity:
The University of Alberta Hospital, Facilities Maintenance & engineering Department, is looking to hire a ticketed Locksmith. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and accessibility of the various UAH Healthcare Facilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services. As a Locksmith with the FME Department, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various locking systems, including electronic and mechanical locks. The Locksmith Position will be responsible for responding to lockouts, conducting routine maintenance inspections, and assisting with the implication of required security measures.
Description:
As a Locksmith, you will perform a wide variety of journey level locksmith duties associated with installation, maintenance, upgrade and repair of all door hardware and lock systems. You will create, control and maintain the key control program in accordance with building codes, blueprints, standards and practices.

Completion of an accredited Journeyperson Locksmith Certificate from Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
