Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 1-year experience working with acute medical patients (within the last 2 years). Minimum 6 months experience working with pulmonary patients (within the last 1 year). Central Line Certification. Chronic Vent Certification. Certified Chest Tube Flush.
Preferred Qualifications:Current It’s Your Move Certificate. Current N95 Fit test. IV Push Certified. Have attended classroom education in the care of ventilated patients.
