Camrose Home Care is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for its Home Care team. Reporting to the Care Manager, Camrose Home Care, you are part of an interdisciplinary team working within the client’s residential environment to provide assessments and direct care as well as support the emotional wellbeing and provide comfort to the client. Utilizing your experience in wound care, palliative care and client teaching you will take a collaborative approach to meeting health goals, contribute to the nursing diagnosis and participate in nursing interventions and outcomes. You will provide safe, quality client and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS. Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization.

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Active registration and practice permit with College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) Graduation from a recognized nursing education program Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) Class 5 driver's license or non GDL and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of one year Home Care experience Minimum of one year Acute Care experience Experience with wound care, palliative care and client teaching
