Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active, or eligible for, registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

As Required.

Preferred Qualifications:

2-5 years Nursing Experience in an Adult Acute Care or LTC setting preferred. Experience and current competency with the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI). Completion of Supportive Pathways or equivalent dementia care education or experience will be considered a preferred asset. Time management and organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as member of a care team. Palliative Care experience will be considered a preferred asset.
