Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization.

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active, or eligible for, registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:As required.
Preferred Qualifications:Canadian Triage Acuity Scale. Cardiac Arrest Management Advanced &Basic/Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Pediatric Advanced Care/Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Trauma 101/Trauma Nurse Core Course. At least 1 year in the past 3 years Emergency experience. At least 1 year in the past 3 years Acute Care experience.
