Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active, or eligible for, registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum six months experience in Rural Acute Care. Current certification in CAM A, CAM B, LEAD II, CTAS, and NRP.
Preferred Qualifications:Rural Emergency and Obstetrical experience an asset. Completed / Current Connect Care training in Rural Nurse, Therapy Plan, Day Surgery, Post Partum and Ambulatory Clinic as applicable to scope. Current Required Organizational Learning.
