Licensed Practical Nurse
Your Opportunity:
The Northern Lights Regional Health Centre is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care. Working to full scope of practice, this role is responsible for assessing, monitoring, reporting, and documenting changes in a patient. The LPN delivers appropriate nursing interventions, assists patients as needed, and provides education and information to patients and their families. As a valued member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, the LPN collaborates to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across a range of ambulatory clinics. These include Endoscopy, Infusions, Minor Surgery Procedures, Dressing/Wound Clinic, Stress Lab, Visiting Specialist Clinics (ENT and Colposcopy), and support in the Orthopedic Clinic. This role requires a collaborative approach to care, grounded in evidence-informed practice and strong nursing competencies. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced critical thinking, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage complex situations to improve patient outcomes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and holistic, advanced assessment abilities are essential to this role. Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent 1 year experience in an Ambulatory Care Setting
Preferred Qualifications:Lead II Connect Care experience
