Document patient care accurately and maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines. Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate care when necessary. Foster positive relationships with patients while maintaining professional boundaries in a correctional environment. Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Excellent assessment skills with the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and challenging environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. Experience in adult education and the ability to educate patients on health-related topics. Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in correctional or similar settings is a plus but not required. Certified in Duty to Respond. Connect Care Experience.
