Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent cardiac experience required. Connect Care experience required. Excellent assessment, documentation, clinical, organizational, and patient care skills are required, as well as the ability to communicate findings in a concise and accurate manner. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills needed. The successful candidate must be able to identify own learning needs and seek guidance in professional practice where knowledge deficits occur.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Cardiology or CV Surgery wards an asset. Experience with Telemetry. Successful completion of Unit Specific Course.
