Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to meet the physical demands of position required. Competence in relevant technical nursing skills and a willingness to learn new skills as required.
Preferred Qualifications:Homecare Experience preferred. Home Care Connect Care Training Completed. Demonstrated ongoing responsibility for maintaining own continuing competence. 5 years Nursing Experience. This role is physical in nature and includes but is not limited to transferring patients, moving supplies and requires walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting greater than 40-50lbs.
