Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be able to work in collaborative model of care. Connect Care training is an asset. Previous Home Care experience. Knowledge of Guidelines for Assignment of Health Care Procedures by Health Care Aides.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent work experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Must have 1-2 years recent Home Care or Community experience. A keen interest in wound care and a willingness to acquire expertise through education and training. A team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
