Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of a post-basic Medication Administration Course for LPN’s. You will be responsible to carry and move equipment, use and operate a laptop computer and mobile phone, and for manual handling (lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing and pulling upwards to 50 Ibs) as a regular part of the job. Learning resources and training are provided to safely perform work. Possession of a valid drivers’ license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work related purposes is a requirement of this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of two years current nursing experience. Recent work experience in a community-based setting. Home Care experience preferred.
