Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 4-5 years recent acute surgical inpatient LPN experience is required. Ability to work as a member of a team and to request and accept direction as required. Critical thinking skills within scope of practice, including clinical judgment and problem solving. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required. Demonstrated ability to adjust to rapid changes in workload.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working to full scope of practice an asset. Connect Care training preferred.
