Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:At least 3 years of previous acute/medical hospital experience. Demonstrated strength in critical thinking. Ability to maintain collaborative relationships with all members of the multidisciplinary team required. Previous experience with geriatric population required. Required to attend quality council meetings and actively participate in unit’s quality improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:Effective time management skills. Promotes a positive work environment. Manages conflict effectively.
