Laboratory Technologist I
Your Opportunity:
This position is an excellent opportunity for any individual with an interest in Anatomical Pathology. The successful candidate will perform a variety of Anatomical Pathology procedures, which may include: Handling and preparing tissues for routine processing; paraffin embedding; microtomy; routine and special staining procedures; routine equipment maintenance; troubleshooting of various laboratory instruments; and quality control activities. Other duties may be assigned as appropriate.
Description:
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent AP experience (within 1 year) is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Epic Beaker AP module experience is an asset.
