Description:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Jointly leading large, complex initiatives with a high degree of change and business transformation impact, providing input on technology and business strategy. Owning the execution of the HSS IT organizational change management workflow in alignment with best practices, including: Planning the OCM engagement with the Project Manager, including deliverables selection and estimation; Stakeholder identification and analysis; Assessing the change and impact; OCM strategy, planning and execution; Communication strategy, planning and execution; Learning strategy, planning and execution; Organizational readiness; Go-live assessment and preparation; Transition to operations. Socializing the overall OCM approach with business leaders and sponsors to increase business ownership of changes. Liaising between the client and other stakeholders. Acting as a subject matter expert on OCM best practices, coaching sponsors and leaders as they guide their people through change. Explaining difficult issues with multiple possible solutions and work to build consensus on preferred options with clients and with other stakeholders. Monitoring and reporting on progress of project activities against due dates, escalating potential problems early and communicating them effectively. Collaborate with or act as the training resource to build and deliver appropriate training and support to meet the unique needs of the area. Defining and executing activities that support the transition of work from project to operations. Supporting post-project activities that evaluate the effectiveness of OCM solutions and drive improvements based on lessons learned. Support peers, seek areas of improvement and actively contribute to advancing a change management community of practice.

A post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science, business, health care, or a related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM) working on medium to large complex IT and/or healthcare-based projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
Recent experience in health care with a technology project-based change management engagement. Training and certification in Prosci® or equivalent. Facilitation and/or coordination experience in Project Management. Effective communication style. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. Minimum 5-7 yrs experience in OCM in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Knowledge/application of plans, theories, and principles related to OCM best practices.
