Reporting directly to the ERS Program Lead, the primary purpose of this role is to collect, enter and maintain the quality and integrity of the data within the Alberta Netcare eReferral Health Service Catalogue (HSC). The Health Services Catalogue is a valuable tool that maintains current listings for providers, facilities, specialties, reasons for referral and mandatory referral requirements available within Alberta Netcare eReferral. This data is integral for creating accurate referrals and subsequent data for provincial reporting. Please note this position is transitioning to primary care Alberta and will report to a different manager. This position will be part of Primary Care Alberta effective November 18, 2024. Completion of diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification is desirable. Diploma in Health Information Management is desirable. Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables, data validation, and conditional formatting and VLOOKUP. Advanced understanding of the HSC data and relationship models. Intermediate experience clinical terminologies with intermediate knowledge of SNOMED CT. Intermediate experience with Service Now and JIRA ticketing systems including reporting. Intermediate experience with the Alberta Netcare Health Services Catalogue User interface. Intermediate knowledge of Referral and Clinical Pathway development, terminology and use within the referral process. Intermediate knowledge of the eConsult and referral processes and how HSC data is used throughout the process. Intermediate knowledge of Alberta Netcare eReferral. Intermediate knowledge of FAST business process and how HSC data is used within those processes. Experience with application testing and best practices. Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Experience with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
