Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
Additional Required Qualifications:Current CPR. Degree in nursing/education. 5 years RN experience dealing with all entire age spectrum including seniors. Currently registered with CARNA as a Registered Nurse in good standing. Possess a positive attitude. Be able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Strong communication skills, including soft skills. Detail-oriented. Demonstrated experience as Educator/trainer/instructor.
Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated teaching skills. Supportive Pathways/P.I.E.C.E.S. Medication Assistance Program (MAP). NVCI. Wound care experience RAI training. Care Manager training. Quality improvement/change management training/experience. Foot care experience. Familiar with standards and accreditation processes.
