Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications:Strong understanding of Seniors Health business operations, processes and policies in Home Care and/or Long Term Care. Minimum of 5 years of recent seniors’ health experience is required. Current CRNA registration as an RN in good standing. Must have working knowledge of the interRAI instruments currently in use within Seniors Health; interRAI-CA, RAI-HC and or interRAI LTCF. Ability to present clinical data and educate adult learners. Excellent attendance record. The successful applicant will be creative, and motivated and demonstrate initiative and a progressive record of leadership. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position. Must be able to work independently and within a virtual team. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Past educator/instructor experience preferred. Previous training as a Connect Care Superuser.
Preferred Qualifications:A baccalaureate degree is preferred. Master's preparation is an asset. Must have a working knowledge of Connect Care/ Meditech and Microsoft Office (MS Excel an asset); knowledge and experience of other software is an asset. Knowledge and use of applications for virtual meetings or webinar sessions that enable distance learning and support an asset (i.e. Teams, Zoom). Past data review experience is an asset.
