Key responsibilities include: Visiting continuing care and supportive living facilities across the Calgary Zone to meet with leadership and front line teams. Interpreting and applying IPC standards, legislation, and evidence-based practices to guide contracted partners in meeting provincial and organizational requirements. Supporting outbreak management, risk assessments, site practice review audits, and quality-improvement initiatives. Serving as a trusted resource and role model, maintaining strong communication and collaboration with both AHS teams and external partners. Facilitating education, coaching, and capacity-building to strengthen IPC knowledge and practice across contracted facilities. Your leadership will help advance IPC excellence across Alberta’s continuing care system and foster strong, effective partnerships that support safer care for residents.
