Your Opportunity:

Alberta Health Services has an exciting opportunity for a permanent part-time .50FTE HR Administrative Assistant. Under the general supervision of the Team Lead, Payroll – the incumbent will accurately process Foundations employee life cycle transactions related to Payroll and Benefits (Alberta Blue Cross and LAPP), respond to assistance inquiries, and other duties as assigned.

Description:

As part of a 4-person team, support Foundations and Trusts in Alberta including: Process Foundations Employee life cycle transactions related to Payroll and Benefits (Alberta Blue Cross and LAPP). Prioritize, organize and respond to Pay and Benefits inquiries. HRIS (QHR) administration support. Reporting. Filing and continue to transition to electronic/cloud-based tools. Complete benefit cycle administration for Flex and ABC including employees on LOA’s (Leaves of Absence).

Required Qualifications:

Previous Human Resources or Administrative Assistant experience. Completion or willingness to complete Payroll Certification (PCP). Strong organizational skills. Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and SharePoint experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Post secondary Education in HR, Accounting or Administration
