Master's degree in Health Promotion, Public or Population Health, Health Education or a related field.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of three (3) years of experience in health promotion/public health or a related field with demonstrated experience in: applying the Population Health Promotion model; conducting environmental scans and evidence reviews; critically analyzing and synthesizing information into reports, planning documents and presentations; identifying issues and making recommendations for comprehensive initiatives, program planning or resource development; project management, development and implementation; organizational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively; facilitating and leading groups with a variety of disciplines, leadership levels, sectors and internal and external partners for consensus-building and capacity building; critical thinking and problem-solving; successfully managing and prioritizing workload for multiple projects including demonstrated resourcefulness, creativity and critical thinking; evaluation and quality improvement; developing communications and knowledge translation products for a variety of audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:Subject matter expertise in Sexual and Reproductive Health, experience with teaching sexual health, knowledge or experience with Alberta Education curriculum standards is an asset.
