Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible for registration or practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) as a Health Care Aide, along with proof of education or completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Life Support (BLS - Heart and Stroke AED Level C required) - Healthcare Provider Registration. One year experience in acute health care or rehabilitation medicine. English language comprehension, both oral and written. Ability to meet the physical demands associated with the job i.e. pushing stretchers, carts, wheelchairs, and bending, and reaching. Completion of Medical Terminology required. Ability to work in a team environment is essential. Self-motivated individual able to prioritize and organize workload, in a busy patient care environment.
