Master's degree in Genetic Counselling. Certification (or eligible for certification) by the Canadian Association of Genetic Counsellors (CAGC) and/or the American Board of Genetic Counselling (ABGC).
Additional Required Qualifications:1 - 3 years previous experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine required. Women's Health experience preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with variety of populations. Must be able to communicate effectively with compassion and empathy. Successful applicant will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong critical thinking, organizational, collaborative and conflict management skills. Ability to work with and support patients and significant others/families during emotionally challenging journey. Proven ability to work independently and within an established team required. History of reliability/dependability required. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, MS Teams, word and excel. Position requires you to sit for long periods of time and work with a computer. Position is based in the Lois Hole Hospital for Women.
Preferred Qualifications:Connect Care in an Ambulatory setting & Astraia proficiency an asset.
