Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, health administration, or commerce. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in financial management, ideally in a research or academic healthcare environment. Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Applicants may be tested for appropriate skills and knowledge.
Additional Required Qualifications:Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Experience performing and learning complex administrative tasks and operating systems under minimal supervision. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Ability to manage finances in a changing and multifaceted environment with diverse and complex issues. Effective communicator with superior organizational skills and attention to detail and an ability to work within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to those with previous experience in a research, healthcare or academic environment. Experience in research administration or clinical trials operations as well as working knowledge of AHS financial processes is an asset.
