Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years' experience providing direct family counseling, preferably within an addiction and/or mental health setting. Minimum of 2 years' experience in program development. Knowledge and skills in assessment, DSM-V diagnosis, and interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based modalities. Demonstrates knowledge in Trauma Informed Care and Collaborative Problem Solving. Intermediate computer skills required. Suicide Prevention. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. A strong ability to work with other professionals is essential, and experience delivering staff training is an asset. In addition to a completed master's degree in a health-related field, applicants must have active registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to those with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Preference given to candidates with experience working within Children's Services and/or Family Supports for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) programs.
