Required Qualifications:

Completion of one of the following programs: Master's degree in Psychology. Master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Master's degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing. Equivalent education and experience may be considered. Must be qualified to perform psychosocial interventions. Education and training in Family Systems work is required. Registration in a professional regulatory body as defined by the Health Professionals Act (CARNA, CRPNA, ACOT, CAP, ACSW). Registered Social Workers must be authorized to perform psychosocial interventions and designation as a Clinical Social Worker is preferred. 3-5 years of recent experience in the community addiction or mental health setting providing services to children, youth and their families and/or an acute child psychiatric setting required. Knowledge and skills in a family systems framework, assessment, goal setting, and treatment using evidenced based modalities. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention. First Aid/BLS. Suicide Risk Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

A master's degree in counselling psychology is preferred. Formal training in CBT, SFT, and MI is preferred. Experience with administering psychological assessments is an asset. Connect Care experience is preferred. Experience working with Children Services, Law Enforcement, schools and other health partnership initiatives.
