Completion of one of the following programs: Master's degree in Psychology. Master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Master's degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory college.
Additional Required Qualifications:Registration in relevant professional association recognized by Alberta’s Health Profession Act (e.g. ACSW, College of Alberta Psychologists). Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience and excellence in family, group and individual therapy in a mental health/psychiatric setting; preferably with adolescents and young adults coping with an eating disorder. Experience working collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Experience in family therapy and family assessment. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Creative, flexible, collaborative systems thinker. Knowledge about evaluation strategies and outcome research. Strong computer skills. Strong family therapy skills essential.
Preferred Qualifications:Eating Disorder experience. Advanced Family Therapy skills. Extensive Group Therapy skills. Experience managing a large case list Experience with case management. Experience working within a mental health setting with adolescents and young adults coping with an eating disorder. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
