Master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with applicable professional association or college.
Additional Required Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will have strong organization skills and thrive on being self-directed in your work. You will demonstrate a high degree of independence and have adept communication and assessment skills. You will be comfortable navigating the complexities of working across different systems and working with complex issues relating to the mental health of children, youth and families. This will include building relationships and trust in non-traditional ways and identifying alternate solutions to provide support. A minimum of three (3) years clinical child and adolescent mental health experience within the last five (5) years. Previous experience providing family intervention for children/adolescents and caregivers with complex mental health needs. Previous formal clinical training in child and adolescent mental health. Previous experience with crisis management. Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work (clinical specialization) who have Psychosocial Intervention Authorization with considerable experience in mental health assessment & provision of psychotherapy. Master’s degree in Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Registration with Appropriate Regulatory College under the HPA. CPR, NVCI training.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience using Connect Care system.
