Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Knowledge and operation of a computer including Microsoft Office. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and perform repetitive movements for the duration of your shift. Physically capable to lift, push and pull up to 22 lbs of force.
Additional Required Qualifications:To enable applicants to perform their duties safely, they must demonstrate the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and follow written and oral directions in English. Ability to walk, climb ladder/step stool, squat, bend, reach in all directions (overhead work required), push/pull. Basic knowledge and operation of a computer and a smartphone. Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment for long periods of time (e.g. Surgical and N95 Respiratory Masks, Eye Protection, Gloves, Gowns, etc.). Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision. All new employees will be required to attend a 5-day Environmental Services Orientation.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Work-related experience, cleaning, knowledge of hospital cleaning procedures and equipment preferred. Customer service is preferred. Environmental Services leadership experience such as working leader, shift lead, training or equivalent preferred.
