Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must hold a valid Class 5 Alberta Operator's Licence. Completion of valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate.
Additional Required Qualifications:Knowledge of city roadways. 3 years related experience driving 3- and 5-ton vehicles. 2 years accident-free driving with 3 or less demerit points. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Establish and maintain effective relationships with all staff and public. Must be physically capable of frequent heavy lifting, bending, and carrying of objects up to 40kg. Able to perform prolonged and arduous work under adverse conditions. Must be reliable and capable of working independently. A working knowledge of current methods of safe driving. Must be neat in appearance, well organized, accurate, and alert and possess good judgment. Ability to reason and react quickly in stressful situations.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum one (1) year related experience in a transportation. Material handling equipment certification. Knowledge of Oracle. Knowledge of health care supplies and equipment.
