Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of intensive care unit (ICU) experience within the last 7 years, or current organ donation coordinator experience. Demonstrated clinical competence in assessment, care provision and planning, exceptional communication skills. Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Effective time management and organizational skills. Must be able to work in a strong vibrant setting as a team player. Ability to work independently - use own initiative and be self-directed. Must be able to lift organ coolers (weighing up to 50lbs each) and push a cart with multiple coolers and other supplies. Computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.
