Bachelor of Science with a major in Foods and Nutrition. Completion of an internship program or practicum training program accredited by the Dietitians of Canada. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA).
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 1 year experience working in ambulatory care required. Diabetes experience required. Experience working with clients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Experience working with women with gestational diabetes. Experience working with pregnant women. Experience providing individual instruction via Zoom.
Preferred Qualifications:Has restricted activity G - to distribute without payment drugs regulated by a schedule in the Pharmaceutical Profession Act and pursuant to a prescription if required by the Act in the provision of nutrition support or medical nutrition therapy.
