Bachelor of Science with a major in Foods and Nutrition. Completion of an internship program or practicum training program accredited by the Dietitians of Canada. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 1 years’ experience as a clinical pediatric dietitian
Preferred Qualifications:Current knowledge and experience in nutrition and feeding for high-risk infants and children, with a focus on cystic fibrosis and lung transplant care Experience with pediatric feeding and swallowing difficulties Experience with nutrition support modalities; especially enteral tube feeding Acquired knowledge of behavior change counselling Successful completion of the 20-hour AHS Breastfeeding course Demonstrated proficiency with digital literacy and the use of Connect Care
