Coordinator II
Your Opportunity:
The Health Shared Services (HSS) Digital Health (DH) Project Management Office (PMO) — Project Demand & Prioritization team is responsible for defining, maintaining, and implementing standardized project management and project prioritization processes using industry recognized methodologies. The team also continuously evaluates and enhances these processes to ensure alignment with HSS DH PMO’s established standards. Reporting directly to the Manager, DH PMO Project Demand & Prioritization, this role serves as a collaborative member of the PMO and provides guidance and support to Project Managers and project teams delivering technology related initiatives. The position also supports Idea Managers through the intake and prioritization of new initiatives. A key responsibility of this role is working with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop curriculum that equips project teams with the knowledge required to effectively use PMO processes and tools. The position also identifies and implements process improvement opportunities to ensure projects adhere to governance requirements and policies that support executive oversight and prioritization. Additionally, this role provides coaching, mentoring, and guidance to project teams to strengthen financial management practices and improve the quality of project documentation. As a Coordinator II, you will apply advanced or specialized skills to support complex projects, procedures, and initiatives within the department, program, or business unit.

Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Working knowledge of Project Management principles, tools, and methodologies. Basic knowledge of MS Project and SharePoint software. Understanding of financial practices and terminology. Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking abilities. Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong facilitation and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a provincial team environment. Keen attention to detail. Must demonstrate flexibility, organization, initiative and strong interpersonal skills and be effective in a fast-paced changing environment. Proven ability to build relationships at a leadership and team level and to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Healthcare knowledge and experience considered an asset. General knowledge of IT functional areas an asset.
