Baccalaureate in Nursing required. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). A minimum of 2 years recent management experience with a strong knowledge of AHS Human. Resources processes and collective agreements.
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated knowledge and recent experience in change management and quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching, conflict management and team building. Demonstrated communication skills including the ability to foster positive and strong working relationships between multidisciplinary team members. Demonstrated ability to identify operational gaps in service delivery and plan for new initiatives to improve patient care. Must be physically able to perform all aspects of the position in accordance with HIAC.
Preferred Qualifications:A sound working knowledge of electronic medical record systems including Connect Care, e-CLINICIAN and HealthQuest. Experience in in-patient and/or ambulatory urological care.
