Baccalaureate degree in nursing or other health profession required. 1-3 years’ experience in a leadership role Current membership with CRNA or other Alberta Regulated Health Profession required. Effective conflict resolution skills. Knowledge of seniors’ health and life transitions. Working knowledge of health care system. Knowledge of Mental Health resources. Demonstrated and clear pattern of professional and personal development. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effect change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and clinical documentation systems (i.e. Connect Care, RAI and Paris). Time management and organizational skills Strong working knowledge and understanding of multiple collective agreements (e.g. HSAA, UNA, AUPE). Traveling may be required between AHS office and contracted sites within AHS Calgary Zone.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree preferred. 5 years of clinical health experience in continuing care preferred. Previous management experience in AHS or health care is an asset.
