Experience with Case Management practice in the community. Baccalaureate degree in a health related discipline required. (Graduate level of education preferred.) Current registration with recognized professional body. Current BCLS-HCP registration required. Knowledge and experience in working with individuals, families and communities within Senior’s populations. Minimum of 5 years clinical experience required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or leadership role preferred. Community experiences using the Case Management approach an asset. Proven leadership through effective communication, ethical decision making and organizational skills. Monitors and ensures compliance with budgetary guidelines. Excellent communication and facilitation skills within a multidisciplinary team environment. Demonstrated conflict resolution and change agent skills. Basic computer skills are required. Proven critical thinking and decision making skills. Previous experience in assessing staffing needs, recruiting and hiring appropriate staff.

Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire other to achieve common goals. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, committees and other partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
Management experience is an asset. Experience in a leadership role.
